Photo Image Resizer is a tool for quickly generating screen-friendly versions of your images with dramatically reduced file sizes. It is a photo resizingprogram that enables you to quickly resize one file or a selection of image files for use on the web and in e-mail. The reduced files are savedin a different directory, so your original pictures are not changed.

The reduced files are saved in a different folder, so your original images are not altered at all. PIXresizer offers several different resizing methods to choose from and can automatically recognize image sizes to calculate the best fit. In addition, it can convert between image formats (JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG and TIFF), rotate images, convert to grayscale and resize multiple images in batch mode. It also allows you to keep the original EXIF information from your images. A great companion for webmasters and digital photographers.

PIXresizer provides a simple and fast set of tools for resizing and reformatting photos. The program provides a strong service and a usable format that someone with any skill set can operate.
We loved the single screen interface that was full of intuitive radio button controls. We never needed to look at the Help file because all the direction we needed was in front of our face. We were able to quickly select a button that shrank our image by a specific percentage or enter a specific set of dimensions for our picture. We were pleasantly surprised by the file type converter, which operated the same way. We chose between JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, or TIFF. The program's sparse features weren't that great, but were effective, offering tools for rotating and converting to grayscale. Our test photos resized themselves and changed file types in a flash and didn't lose anything from the original in the transfer. This was one of the fastest and simplest resizing tools we've ever operated.
PIXresizer is a freeware program. It comes as a compressed file.
